VALLISER SALAD

Ingredients:
  • ¼ iceberg lettuce.
  • ½ peeled apple cut into pieces.
  • 2 slices of thinly cut turkey ham shredded.
  • 1 small carrot finely chopped.
  • 50 g Valliser quince finely chopped.
  • ¼ small onion diced.
  • Dried fruit and nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, raisins, walnuts, etc.).
  • Oat flakes (a handful).
  • Optional: crumbled cheese.
Preparation:

Split the iceberg lettuce into four. Then, cut each of these pieces into 2 cm (approx.)cubes.

Place the lettuce on a plate - preferably a serving dish.

Dice the onion and add onto the lettuce.

Then, shred the turkey ham and spread out over the lettuce and onion.

Place the apple on the plate in the shape of a star.

Then, add the pre-cut carrot on top.

Finally, add the dried fruit and nuts, the oat flakes and our Valliser quince. Dress as desired and enjoy!

Tip:

This salad is a perfect 1 course meal as it contains everything a good meal requires in the one dish (proteins, fibre, carbohydrates, etc.). Perfect to pack in your Tupperware for the office or for any other occasion.
