QUINCE SANDWICH WITH FOIE MI-CUIT AND SOFT CHEESE

Ingredients:
  • 1 slice wholemeal bread without crusts.
  • 1 slice soft cheese measuring 3 mm width.
  • Valliser quince cut into 3 or 4 mm slices.
  • 3 slices duck foie mi-cuit.
  • Fruit syrup reduction or coulis to garnish.
Preparation:

Place the slice of bread on the worktop.

Next, place the slice of Valliser on top, covering the bread entirely.

Then, place the foie on top, also covering everything below. Lastly, add the slice of cheese.

Now, make one horizontal cut across the middle of the bread and two vertical cuts. This produces 6 little sandwiches.

Skewer them with toothpicks to make them easier to eat and put them on a plate garnished with a few lettuce leaves.

Lastly, drizzle the sandwiches with the coulis or fruit syrup. And, enjoy!

Note:

The foie mi-cuit and soft cheese in combination with the quince provide a very special taste experience.
